DANA: Victor A. Renken, 81, of Monica, formerly of rural Dana, died at 4 p.m. Sunday (July 18, 2004) at his residence.

Service: 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Monica United Methodist Church, the Rev. Marc Brown officiating.

Burial: 2:30 p.m. Thursday in Minonk Township Cemetery, Minonk.

Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Hammitt-Hott Funeral Home, Princeville.

Memorials: Monica United Methodist Church; Akron-Princeville Ambulance Service; or Akron-Princeville Fire Department.

Survivors: his wife, Veldalou Virginia Bost Renken; five sons, Michael (April) Renken, Streator; Robert Renken, Monica; Scott (Lori) Renken, Peru; Keith (Susan) Renken, Deer Creek; and Brian (Virginia) Renken, Springfield; 15 grandchildren; three stepgrandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two stepgreat-grandchildren; three sisters, Emily (Clifford) Holt, Annabelle Halberg and Marjorie Barth, all of Minonk; and two brothers, John (Fran) Renken, Graymont; and Roy (Loretta) Renken, Emden.
